UV curable inks will increase by 6%, UV varnishes by 7% - 15% depending on the product, and water-based coatings will increase by 6%.
Nick Brannan, vice president of product management, Flint Group Print Media Europe, said the company has been hit with "severe increases" in acrylic acid prices, and more are predicted.
"[Increasing costs in acrylic acid] coupled with widespread shortages of most raw materials used in the production of energy curable inks and varnishes have forced the costs of these products up to a level that we can no longer contain."
He added that the unstable supply situation which is driving prices up globally, is impacting heavily on key raw materials.
"Flint Group has been working very hard to mitigate the increases, through various cost containment initiatives, he added.
On 15 July, Flint also increased the cost of its packaging inks by 6-7% blaming rising raw material costs.
On 1 July, the company also increased the price of its heatset, coldset, sheetfed inks and pressroom consumables
